That really was quite the Tour, and lots of great mountain action in the Alpes too (and on Mont Ventoux)! Lance had much more of an attacking style in those early Tours; quite the change from 2004 and 2005.

I don’t know if Lancey is on the dope or not, but it’s impressive how he dominated this climb, and subsequent Tour stages and Tours. I wish there was more footage of Eddie.
