I really rate the Paves. Used them initially in the Tour of Flanders sportive and stuck with them due to their predictable handling, ride and p_nct_re resistance. Love 'em. Can you still get the stealth black ones though?

thehippy.net

What's the minimum pressure you dare to ride them on? I love these for their grip, but I once had one roll off my rim at 7 bars. Because I haven't dared run them any softer since then, I can't figure out if it was a one off installation fault of mine, or whether this is a recognized issue. Any experiences, anyone?

A very similar tire is the Veloflex Pave, it uses the same concept "open tubular" in 22mm. It's my favorite tyre which I have tried so far, so comfy and light 190grams. Maybe the vittoria will be my next.

I had a set of the very first batch of clinchers Vittoria made. They were atrocious - I flatted once evey 20 miles. For the last few years however, they have been making very nice tires. They are definitely a little more fragile, but that's the traade off for the suppleness you get
