Anon – I trust the PROs will look PRO on the Parlee and you will love the ride. Pop for the MP3 program. You will be thankful you did.

    RF,

Just ordered my Cosmic Carbone Pros – can’t wait to get them on the road. They’ll be going on a Parlee Z1x that looks a lot like your Colnago.

Greg – Thanks for the offer, white would surely be PRO and may make the bike simply too cool for me. I have yet to see an all white Fizik but when I do i will give it a go. have you seen the post on the Mavic Classics here on BKW? Do a search and check it out, I think you will enjoy it.

Nice work, You are classic. I may have to ship you one of my old Fizik’s to match the bar tape in your summer set up! The Mavic Classics rip. I actually ‘crossed on a set for 4 seasons and would have continued using them but sold them with teh old CX bike. A rare commodity who’s surplus was actually gobbled up by PRO squads over the last three years or so for training wheels.

Anon – I cannot say enough great things about the Carbone PROs. The drop in MSRP makes the wheels a slam dunk. They have an amazing ride, the feel very light and very fast and when on the road, very stiff laterally. I cracked the rear on the first ride when I slammed a huge pothole, and later in the season took a hit from some debris on the road puncturing the front fairing. I rode them all season long and never had an issue, then I raced some cross races and finally in January I sent them back to Mavic for the MP3 replacement. They sent me a brand new set in the box. No questions, no hassle. Amazing! I am working on a post that focuses on the PROs and how awesome the MP3 program is. Make sure to use the cork pads provided by Mavic. – RF

    RF,

How do you like the Cosmic Carbone Pros? Mavic has dropped the MSRP by $400 to stoke sales (especially with the Carbone Ultimate coming out). I’m thiking of picking up a set.

TSLS – Thank you for your comments, the cages do in fact fit the “pop” and by the advice of Ernesto himself, my lady-friend and I opt for the Laverne and Shirley style when going tandem.

Josh – I am with you on the white saddle, PRO.

    white saddle, duh!

All you need is a basket, and your summer set-up is complete. I think you can fit “pop” champers bottles in your cages. How do carbon bikes hold up with your lady-friend sitting on the top tube?
