A friend told me I was in a BKW photo, so I checked it out, and there I am! Do I get a free bottle or something? Next race you should do an interview with a cat 4 slacker like me. Even I knew that Page was running Challenge Grifo XS tires.
Tim Johnson was on Dugasts, 32mm Typhoons. That much I’m sure of, as I was his pit mechanic on Sunday.
I’m fairly certain Page was riding both Typhoons and Dugast Pipistrellos at some point, and I think Todd Wells was mostly on Dugast Pipistrellos as well.
When it comes to the PROs, Dugast rules the roost.
How about an inside scoop on what sort of tires the Pros were riding. It looks like JP was running Vittoria EVO XN file treads. I am always curious as to what they choose.
d*pow – Sorry to have missed you. The bar is indeed set very high. Hopefully the event lit the flame for the remainder of the season – even after the temps take a dive.
You were there and we didn’t meet. Damn the fates! Sun Prairie is where I live, in fact the JP Cup was the best thing to happen there since we moved there 2 years ago. Thanks for coming to check it out, the bar is pretty high for the rest of the season
Acquiesce808 – Thanks for dropping by and for promoting BKW on your own site. The Page Cup was a fantastic race; from the standpoint of a spectator it was well run and the crowds exemplified what a cross crowd should be. Thanks to all who participated and volunteered their time. – RF

I will 2nd that…Vanilla makes a beautiful bike.
Speedvagen! Best bike name ever.
Actually, scratch that, Page rides Challenge tires…
