I haven’t seen someone drop such an elite group since stage 6 of the 2008 tour de France.
In the interview Nys says its one of the best races he’s had in his career. He went on to say he didn’t even feel the race in his legs from the previous day. His pace compared to Vervecken’s is scary in the last half of the lap.
Colorado’s Jon Baker is the lapped rider who sits on Nys for a little bit there, a couple of minutes in.

Nys has said that he’s limiting his racing so he gets to Worlds in better form than previous years.
