…that was a defining & validating ttt for the 7/11's & other american teams of the future…

…lotta younger readers may know the basic history of americans racing in europe but it took a lotta effort before north americans were accepted as valid…

…show up n' race ???…sure…be considered as an actual threat to the hierarchy ???…not so much…
…lotta those guys worked hard for a long time before that acceptance was ever made…

…now it's a very different & exciting cycling world…much more universal…
