We lost one of all time greats last year, a once in a life time athlete. Every year we, as fans of cycling, will witness the new hero’s of the sport perform equally similar physiological feats.
Yet we will never see that grace, that pedaling stroke, that perfect position, and that unmistakable class again. These were the charachteristics of an individual that was put on this planet for one sole purpose. I’m thankful that he left us such memories before he departed.
